Program Manager Associate Manager, Sustainment - Level 4

This position is for a Program Manager Associate Manager for the C-130J Long Term Sustainment program within the Air Mobility Maritime Missions (AMMM) line of business.

What You Will Be Doing

- Responsibilities include managing cost/schedule/performance for the awarded multi-year program by leading a cross-functional team.

- Responsible for identifying programmatic challenges and issues, then developing and implementing solutions by leading the program team.

- In addition to a team located in Marietta, coordinate with third party suppliers, LM Greenville repair services, warehousing operations in Little Rock, AR and deployed field representatives.

- Acts as primary customer contact for the USAF program office in Warner Robins, GA.

- Lead program review sessions with internal team and USAF customer to discuss quality, cost, schedule, and technical performance.

- Ability to develop new business and strategic plans to protect and grow business.

- Must have excellent communication and customer intimacy skills at senior customer and senior company levels of management.

- Ability to lead in a functionally aligned organization.

- Ability to develop, maintain, and communicate performance-based metrics on a monthly basis to senior management and customers.

- Some domestic travel will be required.

Basic Qualifications:

- Familiarity with US Government sustainment programs

- Customer interface experience

- Experience presenting to audiences up to Executive level and USG representatives

Desired Skills:

- Experience leading a cross-functional team

- Possess strong verbal and written communications

- Ability to work with minimal supervision, self-starter

- Demonstrated ability to manage a large, complex program

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
