Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Integration and Test Engineer. In this role, you provide technical oversight and direction in support of functional test of flight electronics including cabling, harnesses and basic electronic chassis and assemblies. This position is in support of the latest cutting-edge Aerospace programs to include Manned Space Systems, Hypersonic Missiles, Missile Defense, and NASA programs.
Summary of Key Duties for this position:
- Reviews and evaluates test requirements.
- Develops, prepares, and executes comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules supporting production and development programs.
- Performs data review and data reduction and generates final reports.
- Provides troubleshooting leadership, identify cause and corrective action to resolve technical production problems and develop re-test instructions when needed.
- Identify and lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase the repeatability, efficiency, and throughput of test operations.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of basic electronics test equipment, and be an excellent technical writer (job entails writing test procedures and reports) and be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
The position may require periodic or unscheduled overtime and/or nonstandard workweek depending on program schedule requirements and equipment availability.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Software engineering, or related discipline.
- Familiarity with basic electronics test equipment
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
- Aerospace and Mechanical Degree majors are also preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent technical writer (job entails writing test procedures and reports) and be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Work experience in the Aerospace and/or Defense industry
- Familiarity with electronics testing to include continuity, RF, DWV, etc.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
