Job Description:
Performs financial, operational and strategic audits of Essentia Health. Performs and manages complex audits and other program services in accordance with the IPPF and program policies and procedures. Identifies control weaknesses, risks, non-compliance with organizational policies/laws/regulations, and opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency. Develops effective, practical recommendations for audit observations, internal control deficiencies and risks noted during audits. Drafts audit reports, with practical recommendations and garners management responses. 5 years of audit or related experience. Proficient knowledge and understanding of internal controls, financial statement standards, internal auditing standards and the IPPF. Previous public accounting firm audit experience is helpful. Previous healthcare experience is desirable.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a preference in accounting, finance or related field.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
CPA or CIA designation is preferred.
