Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Project Manager - National Accounts to join our TEAM! As the Project Manager - National Accounts, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support to our team. The Project Manager - National Accounts will need to assess the project at hand and navigate the project effectively based on the layers of complexity and contribute to process improvement initiatives in order to streamline sales and customer-facing activity.
Primary Objective
The Project Manager assigned to the national account group is responsible for managingmultiple projects for multiple reps to make sure orders are received. Coordinating all necessary resources to ensure timely delivery of requests, orders and customer satisfaction. Acts as a point of contact and as an internal processes expert, for the sales representatives and customers. This role will also have an understanding of all projects at hand and will be able to speak on the representative's behalf if necessary.
Major Function and Scope
Responsible for making sure that all departments come together in a timely manner to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope
Assess the project at hand and navigate the project effectively based on the layers of complexity
Contribute to process improvement initiatives in order to streamline sales and customer-facing activity
Review any problems with the appropriate person/department and drive change with personnel and management
Schedule tasks and coordinate with various team members to accomplish the results.
Communicate frequently with all members that are involved in the project and not make any assumptions
Initiate project request in the CRM application
Reactto any potential issues and assist with the best steps forward
Frequently communicate internal processes and terminology to sales teamto insure proper understanding of internal processing
Verify larger dollar value orders for accuracy
Establish and maintain positive business relationships internally and externally to promote business goals
Other duties and tasks as requested.
Experience and Knowledge Required
Associates degree in Business Administration/Management, Construction Management or related field required. Equivalent years of experience, minimum of 2 years in addition to work experience, required in lieu of degree.
Minimum 2 years customer service-related experience required
Previous Project Management experience preferred
