Aerotek is urgently hiring for Mechanical Assemblers in Hampton Roads!
Description:
Candidates will be responsible for assembling parts using a variety of tools and equipment in a specific area of the production line.
Essential Functions:
- Receives directions/tasks from Team Lead
- Reviews test, route, process, and pump load sheet in preparation for work to be accomplished
- Assemble based on work instructions
- Interprets measurements
- Adjusts dimensions to fit specifications
- Sets and verify parts clearances
- Troubleshoot test failures and perform repairs as needed
- Repairs some parts in refurb department
- Ensures working environment is clean and safe
- Performs quality checks
- Checks stock to ensure inventory is replenished and other duties as needed
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience working in manufacturing environment
Experience working with blueprints/work instructions
Hand and power tool experience
Day Shift, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate $15-$16 per hour
