This individual will lead the forecasting, financial planning, analysis and reporting functions of the Marketing, Sourcing and Supply Chain organizations including developing and refining corporate strategies, business plans and comprehensive forecasts. They will be responsible for development and execution of effective ideas and solutions which optimize company resources and improve profitability, while protecting the Brand. Collaborates with all levels of management to help improve business acumen within the organization, while raising awareness levels and probing for greater efficiencies and business opportunities. Provides superior quantitative and qualitative problem-solving recommendations, while handling multiple high-profile projects concurrently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinates and presents regular forecasts for Cracker Barrel, including advertising and media as well as the digital guest experience, culinary innovation and operations, menu strategy, communications, brand strategy and format innovation, pricing, reducing food costs through specification and sourcing changes and commodity inflation, and all aspects of the company's off-premise business. Must be adept at understanding complexities and interdependencies of information, high levels of anticipation, critical events, trends, and timely identification of risks & opportunities.
Collaborates with various levels of management to acquire and develop reasonable, accurate projections of goals and key success drivers of short- and long-term sales & profitability.
Serves as a critical strategic resource to the key functional areas of the organization. Manages and develops finance team supporting Marketing, Sourcing and Supply Chain functions and directs all levels of management to successfully execute company strategic decisions and determines prioritization with senior management. Develops and presents a course of action for exploring new business opportunities, increases levels of business acumen throughout the organization, and raises levels of anticipation and awareness. Also includes management and facilitation of various special projects on a regular basis.
- Responsible for innovative approaches and improvements to methodologies, procedures and systems related to financial planning, forecasting, analysis, investment modeling, reporting of key information for decision making and recommendations for similar improvements throughout the organization.

Strong knowledge of restaurant/retail industry, operations, and trends
Thorough knowledge of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Thorough knowledge of financial analyses including projecting, forecasting, and budgeting planning.
Knowledge and experience with Tableau and/or Alteryx are a plus
