About the Role

Incepts, manages, and develops the strategic framework & internal partnerships for the communication of Total Rewards to Gap Inc. employees, candidates, and other stakeholders and owns their holistic experience with our self-service platforms and HR Service Centers around Total Rewards

What You'll Do

  • Collaborates with multiple stakeholders across Total Rewards, HR Shared Services, HR, Talent Acquisition, Corporate Communications, and Equality & Belonging to plan, develop, and cross collaborate on Total Rewards Communications and experience access points around them.

  • Conduit to Corporate Communications & HR Shared Services for Total Rewards Team, proactively identifying best times & method to communicate and ensuring a consistent high-quality experience with our Service Centers around them. Advocates for Total Rewards contenteview in communications & employee experience initiatives not incepted by the Total Rewards team

  • Project manages the active maintenance and creation of Total Rewards on-going live existing program collateral (i.e. plan documents), content (i.e. e-learnings), ad hoc campaigns, and service center documentation (i.e. call center scripts)

  • Partners with the Total Rewards Analytics Team to continuously evaluate effectiveness of communications campaigns/on-going collateral & service centers. Pilots adjustments & new mechanisms to improve on them.

  • Develops strategy for 360 degrees communications ensuring consistent, timely, and high-quality but scalable responses on multiple stakeholder inquiries/feedback on Total Rewards

  • Owns the consistent voice, tone, and high-quality of Total Rewards communications, ensuring alignment with Gap Inc.'s Employment Brand tenants.

Who You Are

  • 5/7+ years of experience in HR Communications and employee experience via shared service centers (experience with Total Rewards a plus)

  • Specific Focus Areas: Employee Communications, Process Development, Project Management, Cross-functional engagement

  • Must have excellent partnership building, influencing, and project management abilities

  • Building of strong reciprocal organizational relationships through 1:1 frequent connections critical for success

  • Independent and self-directed; prioritizes project work and immediate needs of business partners

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain and defend a point of view

  • Ability to create and polish content from raw drafts or bullet points

  • User experience focused, considers combination of experiences from all access points

  • Ability to story tell on complex subjects simplistically, concisely and effectively

  • Ability to translate desired end user experience into scalable processes

  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service to business partners; ability to collaborate within and outside the team

  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, team environment under general supervision

  • Identifies and solves problems creatively; ability to think beyond immediate consequences

  • Flexibility to work in situations where there is no unique, correct answer

  • Ability to execute complex campaigns and projects with broadly defined objectives

  • Apply independent judgment with follow-up to business partners to determine the direction of assignments

  • Advance Microsoft PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe DC Pro, and Word skills a very strong asset
