We're looking for two Summer 2024 interns supporting the Software Engineering Department at $15-$22/hr, in Virginia Beach. The ideal intern candidates will be Sophomore to Senior college level, working part-time from the beginning of June to theend of August.
If selected, you will:
Support and implement software applications and initiatives.
Work in a team environment, and report to project lead or project manager for technical support, task assignment, and processes.
Prepare reports as required.
Interact with other departments, as needed.
Comply with applicable software development processes and standards.
Adapt to shifting priorities and perform other duties, as required.
To be successful in this role, you must be self-motivated, a team player and adaptable in a dynamic environment with the ability to complete assignments as required. Clear communication with team members will be key to ensuring requirements are clearly defined and expectations are being met.
It is preferred for this role that candidates have a background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field either through current enrollment in a degree program or prior work experience.
