TheDigital Marketing StrategistatBatteries Pluswill own the marketing content strategy by collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop a multi-channel, both paid and organic, content calendar, while also managing and guiding segmented message streams. In addition, theDigital Marketing Strategistwill own the testing, reporting and execution of assigned performance marketing channels and programs.
TheDigital Marketing Strategisthas the opportunity to be a remote role or if located near the corporate office in Hartland, WI, could be a hybrid or onsite position as well. Responsibilities:
Campaign Planning
Coordinate with internal teams to understand business needs, while ensuring exposure and continuity of appropriate content across paid and organic channels
Develop and manage a content calendar that incorporates segmented message steams within various channels
Own alignment meetings and gain buy-in from key stakeholders
Influence decision-making by using data to create detailed, strategic messaging/targeting plans
Channel Analysis
Analyze content performance across all paid and organic channels, providing correlations and strategic feedback for UX and channel performance optimizations
Design and track KPIs, analyze performance with industry standard tools and provide insights that optimize future campaign strategies
Use tools, agency partners and cross-departmental teams to plan and recommend strategies
Design and maintain digital dashboards and report on analytics and results
General Functions
Maintain a deep understanding of best practices, features, strategies, tools and tactics for all channels
Guide content strategy in collaboration with internal teams by developing, executing and measuring strategies and tactics
Recommend content for paid digital media plans, in partnership with digital marketing peers and agency partners to enhance efficiencies within channels and drive revenue
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
3+ years of multi-channel analysis accountability (SEM, SEO, Paid Social, Email, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing marketing strategies with a proven track record of execution and successful performance
Previous ecommerce retail experience
Proven and strong analytical background; advanced knowledge of Google Analytics
