GENERAL FUNCTION
The Marketing Media Manager will be accountable for the leading and execution of media activations for Oakley + Costa. This position oversees media planning, development, implementation, buying, and measurement of all paid media activations.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with global and local brand marketing & business teams to align media strategies for Oakley (NA + LATAM) and Costa (globally)
Support global/local marketing in the development of the global media and campaign briefs
Lead creation, implementation, optimization and measurement of integrated media strategies, in collaboration with agency partners + direct vendors (ex: NFL, PGATour)
Lead reporting of the campaigns and develop the KPIs to measure performance
Manage local media partners and develop media offers based on the communication and media objectives. Test new formats, tactics and solutions
Lead internal weekly meetings/updates, including presenting updates and strategies to leadership and executive teams
Collaborate across various departments, including but not limited to: global media teams, global brand teams, Ecommerce team, social team and more
Acts as a relationship leader, both for internal and external business partnerships.
Leads and manages day-to-day interactions with global and regional stakeholders to ensure best-in-class media principles, guidelines and investments are made.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, media or related degree
5-8 years of experience in media, marketing, or related field
Strong project management and coordination skills
Acute attention to detail and strong analytic + synthesis skills
Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
Self-starter attitude with a global mindset + ability to work both autonomously and proactively
Full competency on all media channels (digital, OOH, TV, radio, etc.) and ability to evaluate media plans against strategy as well as efficiency/strength
Strong coordination skills to lead/manage complex media plan/executions as well as a complex global organization structure
Ability to work both individually and in team with different cultures and regions
Understanding of media research tools/models
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest in sports & a passion for the brands
