The mission of the Lone Wolf Team is to support, operate, and maintain the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network - Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES). The DCIN-TS ES is a DoD provided, TS/SCI, integrated voice, video, and data, global communications network that facilitates collaboration among senior leaders and key staff.

Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Senior IT Virtual Server and HCI Systems Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following:Manage and maintain an IT enterprise of Virtual Machine environments (Nutanix or VMware) hosting MS Windows servers, Linux environments, and Citrix VDI services.
Responsible for VM cluster maintenance activities, ensuring cluster health and managing license upgrades.
Perform tasks within a Nutanix Acropolis environment to identify, analyze, and remediate performance issues.
Maintain VM enterprise capabilities for Windows/Linux and VDI server services in compliance with DISA STIG requirements.
Maintain all physical back-end server services and team resources assignments.
Identify and diagnose complex performance, security, and technical issues.
Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI
Current DODD 8140/8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) required (such as CCNA Security, Security+ CE, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP)
Experience developing IT checklists, SOPs, guides, etc.
Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to travel up to 10%
Minimum Experience:
At least 10 years of IT experience inclusive of the following minimum specific experience:
5 years of experience managing MS Windows servers and Linux environments for Virtual Machine environments
2 years of experience managing Nutanix HCI environments, to include configuration of a cluster and the components needed to create and manage VMs (networks and images)
2 years of experience managing Citrix VDI services
Demonstrated experience creating and managing VMs, configuring optimization features at the VM level, managing alerts, events, log collection, and reporting
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) (or prior MCSE with ability to obtain MCSA within 6 months of hire)
Citrix Certified Administrator (or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire)
Certified Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Administration (ECA)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administration
VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP)
