Front Gate Tickets is North America's leading software and operations provider for the festival market. We provide technical solutions for e-commerce ticketing, access control, data management, and fan engagement. We partner and run on-site operations for over 200 festivals each year and are on a massive growth trajectory matched by no one in the industry. We do it for the fans!
Front Gate is owned by Live Nation Entertainment and acts as Ticketmaster's festival arm. We have two offices located in Austin, TX.
THE TEAM
Our product development team is responsible for designing and building the technical solutions that make up North America's premier festival ticketing platform. We are a modestly sized group that takes pride in the breadth of our product offerings and our ability to deliver timely results. Our products cover (but are not limited to) ecommerce, box office management, marketing, fulfillment services, and on-site access control. With the highly anticipated return of live events on the horizon, we're looking for individuals to help us design and build the next generation of tools for our best-in-class platform.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:
Drive products and concepts working with the extended team of product managers, business managers, designers, engineering, and cross functional teams.
Write and present top-notch product story and requirements documentation for engineering staff, driven by usage insights, with input from internal stakeholders and at times external clients.
Gather requirements across multiple international markets and stakeholders and assist in determining overall priority for development.
Analyze and present hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and feature concepts and also to set targets and measure key performance indicators.
Track product bugs and define areas for constant enhancements and optimization within the user experience.
Act as an internal evangelist for the assigned product(s).
Conduct product demonstrations for internal developers and product staff as well as external clients.
Understand and discuss technical concepts, and propose new product ideas with non-technical and technical employees.
WHAT YOU BRING:
5+ years experience in Product Management
2+ years experience within ticketing, live events, event management, or related industries preferred
Ability to think holistically and connect the dots between enterprise level tools and fan facing experiences
Top-notch written and verbal communication skills to interact with our internal team, and the greater LNE organization, including our clients
Proven ability to communicate product vision through a variety of mediums
Well versed in working directly with engineering and design, utilizing a variety of methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, Lean, Double Diamond)
Experience with implementing, understanding, and leveraging product usage analytics to drive decision making.
User research advocate who enjoys building rapport with their customers in order to create highly usable products at scale
