Dal-Tile a subsidiary of Mohawk Indistries is seeking a Sr. Manager - SAP. This role is responsible for the entire IS landscape that supports the Ceramic North American supply chain systems. This includes order processing, logistics planning and execution, S&OP process, supply network optimization, transportation and warehouse management. The position manages technical and functional IS team analysts that support these systems and is responsible for the overall budget, management, and operations of the team. The role will own the relationship between the Supply Chain organization and IS.
What you'll do:
Within SAP SD/SCM, work with the Application Architects and the business to successfully perform gap analysis for medium to complex projects and to translate the business requirements and business processes into functional design specifications for SAP configuration and custom SAP development work. Within supply chain, work with business to successfully align strategy and drive IS towards meeting business goals.
Drive integration testing across SAP modules and non-SAP systems. Build knowledge of the Enterprise Application Interface in order to efficiently troubleshoot interface issues.
Partner with Customer Service, Distribution and Transportation user community to ensure successful and timely User Acceptance Testing.
Actively drive issue resolution and closely monitor its progress.
Provide SAP SD/ LE knowledge and advice to the Master Data Consultants and Change Management Experts as appropriate.
Lead Documenting all implemented solutions and train the SAP Support Specialists to ensure successful end user support.
Lead Developing training material for the business key users & conduct key user training. Support the business key users in developing work instructions & conducting end user training
Own complete module solutions end-to-end; prototyping, blueprinting, design, build, test, documentation and post go-live support including interfaces & cross module integration.
Fully understand and master all the end-to-end, cross-functional and integrated business processes related to the SAP SD module, including integrations with extended business systems
Proactively work with Project Managers and Vendor Project Teams to resolve technical issues and to champion closure on business & technical issues related to process, business rules and configuration, in order to achieve the ultimate business goals
Actively engage all the different functional teams to improve the suggested solutions and increase the business satisfaction (VOC); effectively communicate needs across projects
Ensure quality and best practices in each SAP functional domain by driving and adhering to the Mohawk SAP global solution template, SAP standards, knowledge base & best practices
Perform other duties as required.
What you have:
Master's degree (preferable) or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related discipline, with a strong interest in / affinity with information technology Or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
Minimum of 8 years job specific and hands-on SAP (and associated systems) work experience with demonstrated professional growth and achievement. Prior work experience in a manufacturing industry of comparable size, business diversity, scope and complexity a plus.
Good SAP SD, TM, PP, LE and MM process and technical knowledge, with hands-on SAP SD and LE configuration experience. Batch management and ATP configuration is plus.
Experience in working cross functional modules SAP WM and FI.
Demonstrated experience and understanding of ERP applications, system development life cycle, dynamics of applications development projects, Information Technology practices and methods. Knowledge of EAI / integration principles a plus.
Knowledge of the principles, techniques and methodology of project management (ASAP and Agile), quality management, and change management
Proficient using PC, Internet and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project).
