Our client, a leading manufacturer in the electrical equipment and instruments industry, is seeking a Coil Winder to join their team. As a Coil Winder, you will be part of the Production department supporting the Transformer Coil team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, the ability to follow wiring diagrams, and the desire to produce high-quality products.
Job Title: Coil Winder
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Pay Range: $25.50 per hour + $3.00 shift differential pay for 3rd shift assignment
What's the Job?
Wind standard coils for dry type transformers
Perform welding and/or brazing to join bus bars to foil
Utilize hook-up/hot work assembly tools to meet production demands
Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to production quality standards related to coil dimension, bus bar location, etc.
Maintain a minimum of 80% of productivity time standards
What's Needed?
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
6 or more months using soldering/brazing/welding experience OR a completed welding certificate from an accredited institution or equivalent high school trades course
Previous Machine Operation experience
