As a BSA in Shared Services Business Systems, your primary focus will be supporting SuccessFactors Employee Central (Partner Central) and SAP HR applications. You will leverage your HR systems and business process expertise as the liaison between the Partner Data Operations team, other Partner Resources Organization Centers of Excellence and Starbucks Technology. You will act as a data steward of Starbucks organizational, position and partner data and as a trusted advisor and key stakeholder for the projects and initiatives that support Starbucks business and partners. You will work with IT to troubleshoot production issues and to deliver systems enhancements through requirements gathering and refinement, collaborative solution design, testing and validation.
As a business systems analyst, you will...
- Assist with identifying, designing, and implementing new system functionality and improvements to existing systems. You will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements; consulting with technology to prioritize, develop, and deploy solutions; while coordinating user acceptance testing and business validation; and communicating changes to impacted stakeholders.
- Act as contact for end users with system issues or problems. You will be responsible to identify, troubleshoot and track software and process issues to ensure resolution and keep systems operational.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to provide recommendations on new initiatives or projects.
- Manage and coordinate aspects of small solution deliveries, internal projects, and process improvements.
- Document processes clearly and thoroughly, and train others on these processes.
We'd love to hear from people with:
- Functional experience with HCM systems including SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP HR, Payroll, Self-Service, and Applicant Tracking
- Understanding of HR business objectives, strategies, and workflow processes
- Understanding of Starbucks retail, manufacturing, and non-retail organizational hierarchy and position management
- Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Systems design, testing and implementation
- Systems, process flow and standard operating procedure documentation skills
- Requirements, gathering, refinement and documentation skills
- End-user support and training
