CACI is currently looking for a Digital Signals Processing Engineer Lead to join our team developing next generation signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic warfare systems for the Department of Defense. What You'll Get to Do:
As a hands-on Digital Signals Processing Engineer, you will Lead a talented team in the development and delivery of tactical solutions for an Army Program of Record system fielded to multiple COCOMs
Mentor team members and lead the DSP development to provide new technical solutions that can be deployed to fielded systems to support the warfighter
Drive the technical approach and capabilities for a high visibility solution and collaborate with other functional areas to ensure technical solutions are implemented in a timely manner
Engage in operational mission activities and oversee the implementation of signal processing solutions to meet mission objectives
Design, develop, debug, and test signal processing algorithms running on a variety of platforms supporting intelligence, defense, and other government missions
Design, develop, integrate and test ML/AI software and DSP algorithms
Enhance and maintain existing X-Midas and M2Extra tools which are used by signal analysts
Help define the requirements, CONOPs and architecture for future systems
Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
Use of analytic signal processing tools
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in digital signal processing (DSP) and communication theory
Experience programming in either Python, Java, C++, or any object- oriented or functional language
Linux software development experience
Understanding of software defined radio systems (receiver architectures, software channelization, modulation/demodulation techniques, spectral analysis)
Experience with X-Midas in the development of RF transmission and receiver systems or software defined radio
Demonstrated proficiency in communicating technical and analytical information in written products
Exposure to all phases of software development lifecycle (concept, design, implementation, test, and production)
Demonstrated experience leading highly visible technical solutions
Experience coordinating and delivering prototype and QRC projects
Strong technical experience and background
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. Electrical Engineering)
Active TS/SCI clearance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience processing signals using Matlab, Octave, or another software tool suite
Experience with telemetry systems
Knowledge and experience processing digital video formats
Experience in design, development, or testing of weapons systems
Development of link budgets, range estimates, and system sensitivity assessments

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$102,900 - $216,200
