The Manager will manage and develop business relationships with mobile operator roaming partners throughout the globe, supporting T-Mobile's industry-leading Simple Global retail roaming offer.
What you'll do in your role.
Primary duties including negotiating and managing commercial agreements for a portfolio of assigned roaming partners. The Manager will be the primary point of contact between internal T-Mobile teams and roaming partners.
Responsibilities:
Structure and drive strategic partnerships, business opportunities, and relationships via a) identifying and analyzing complex market/business opportunities, b) evaluating key players, technologies, and products, c) creating economic/financial/business models, and d) developing financially-sound recommendations for T-Mobile to pursue
Create strategic plans for assigned roaming partners and identify top priorities for each party in the relationship
Negotiate financially-sound roaming agreements with new/existing partners
Work with Legal teams to draft, clarify commercial/legal conditions and execute partner agreements, ensuring agreements are sound
Ensure each party adheres to financial targets and key contractual terms
Collaborate with T-Mobile internal customers/functional partners including Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Customer Care, T-Mobile Business, etc. to execute on the international roaming strategy
Develop expertise in sectors vital to T-Mobile's core strategy.
The experience you'll bring.
Bachelor's degree in business or finance related field preferred
4+ years experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, business/corporate development, partner relations, and/ or alliance management preferred
Strong experience in complex problem-solving and financial/economic analysis
Strong negotiation skills to influence business partners and experience in signing long-term contracts
Experience with contracts, working with Legal teams to clarify commercial/legal conditions preferred
Appreciation and understanding of cultural differences; multilingual a plus
Outstanding team player and communicator
Ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision and to work comfortably with some ambiguity
Executive maturity: ability to work with a variety of professional levels among various companies
Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel,
Knowledge of wireless industry a plus
