Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Financial Analyst I- Rebates to join our TEAM!
Primary Objective
Provides financial analysis and support for the Buying Groups and Builders. Calculates rebates for the DAL, AO/MZ, and Countertop SBU's.
Major Function and Scope
Prepares monthly estimate of rebate liability for posting to the GL.
Prepares buying group monthly P&L statements.
Maintains files and databases associated with buying group participation.
Prepares analytical reports for rebate sales expense and related margin performance.
Communicates with external buying groups to resolve reporting and eligibility issues.
Calculates rebates due and prepares check requests for disbursement.
Monitors and tracks Builder agreements and rebates and reconciles to GL.
Reconciles assigned GL accounts on monthly basis to detail.
Performs other related analytical duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
0-2 years of accounting or finance experience.
Experience with Excel, Pivot Tables and Access required.
Competencies
Very strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and accurately while meeting tight deadlines.
Effective communicator both in writing and speaking.
Practical knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and Sarbanes-Oxley.
Ability to learn new systems and extract data as needed.
Strong data gathering skills and demonstrated analysis experience, comfortable working with large datasets.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to establish relationships and be an effective team member.
Capacity to work both independently and as a key member of cross-functional teams, at times in a project management role.
