Job Description

Description: We are Lockheed Martin

- Works independently or leads a team to execute project, schedule, and technical requirements to meet the goals of the test program.

- Responsible for specification, selection, design, integration, operation and maintenance of airborne data acquisition systems, and their related components. This includes telemetry, flight test specific hardware, or prototypes for flight test evaluation.

- Oversee installation, checkout, and calibration of data systems, to ensure collected data can be properly displayed, processed, and analyzed.

- Maintain configuration control, and mission capability of the instrumentation system as well as all associated ground support equipment.

- Support preflight, post-flight, and control room activities for all scheduled mission.

- Interface with test ops, maintenance, and management to ensure all instrumentation requirements are coordinated and accounted for.

- Support occasional travel.

A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

- BS in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer Science degrees or equivalent experience.

- Technical background in Electrical Engineering or related field.

- Experience with 3-D Computer Aided design (CAD) tools/drafting software

- ADP Flight Test Instrumentation experience

- Flight Test Instrumentation design experience

Desired Skills:

- Previous experience with Curtis Wright, Safran, or similar instrumentation hardware

- Signal conditioning, transducers, and data acquisition

- Analog & digital circuit design and analysis

- Flight test instrumentation operations

- IRIG 106 Telemetry Standards

- Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, function generation, network analyzer, and multi-meter use

- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings & process specifications

- CATIA familiarity

- Experience with tooling, machining or fabrication

- Assembly/Build Floor support experience

- Lean manufacturing and process Improvement

- Manufacturing experience in metallic, non-metallic, electrical, assembly and installations.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
