Job Description:
Candidate will work in all phases of cardiac rehab - Phase I, II and III. They will provide assistance and education to patients that have recently undergone any/all heart procedures. They will rotate with the rest of the staff to cover phase I and stress testing at the hospital and work in the outpatient setting at S. University the rest of the time. You will be working with a team of 3 other cardiac rehab RN's/exercise physiologist along with a couple prn staff that help cover vacations/time off. Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients ages 13 years old and older referred to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs, and other programs associated with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Services. Is also involved in the ongoing development of these programs. Responsible for supervising graded exercise tests in the non-invasive cardiovascular lab.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or health care related field.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
BLS certification within 1 month of hire.ACLS certification within 6 months of hire. ACSM Certification - ACMS Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist or certification eligible and obtained within 6 months of hire.
6 months experience in cardiac rehabilitation.Meets Core Competencies as defined by AACVPR for Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist.
Candidate should be proficient in reading EKG's, monitoring patients in the cardiac rehab setting. Experience working with ScottCare monitor system is a plus. Experience with stress testing, nuclear, stress echo and regular stress tests is desired, but we will train.

Pay Range
$56118 - $84178 / year
The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
