Description: Job Title: Facilities Project Engineer
What We're Doing: At Lockheed Martin we are committed to optimizing our facilities to support our business operations effectively. The Facilities Project Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing space management planning, design, and implementation across our business area.
The Work: As a Facilities Project Engineer you will:
-Provide strategic inputs and solutions for facility projects involving space management planning, design, rearrangement, layout, and alterations.
-Oversee the planning and execution of small and large-scale moves, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
-Assist in developing site-specific planning strategies based on space utilization data and customer requirements.
-Maintain accurate databases for facility management and project tracking purposes.
-Coordinate with lead designers to establish design criteria and prepare layout plans.
-Conduct site surveys and inspections to ensure construction progress aligns with established specifications and schedules.
-Manage the Facilities Service Request (FSR) database, including customer project requests for construction, renovation, or equipment relocation.
-Coordinate move, add, change activities and develop comprehensive move and migration plans with space assignments.
-Create presentations using tools like PowerPoint and 3D rendering software (e.g., Sketchup) for projects involving workplace standards, agile environments, and complex project phasing.
Who You Are:
-Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Facilities Management, or 5 years Equivalent related experience in facilities project management, space planning, and design.
-Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and 3D modeling software (Sketchup, etc.).
-Strong understanding of building codes, space utilization principles, and construction processes.
-Experience managing databases and conducting data analysis.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
