Manage, coordinate, and administer credit-related issues remediation activities including Regulatory, Audit, Credit Risk Review and other self-identified Issues including the preparation of Issues reporting. Assist leadership in the preparation of materials for Regulatory interactions. Provide credit subject-matter-expertise in preparation for Regulatory examinations. Manage various projects and initiatives on behalf of leadership. Provide subject-matter-expertise in the review of Credit Policies, Credit Procedures, and related Credit processes. Assist with the preparation of Credit Committee materials. Thought leader for credit process change and efficiencies. Liaison to Audit Directors, Credit Risk Review Officers, Governance & Control Officers, and Business Unit Chief Risk Officers.
Credit Risk Management Organization encompasses Credit Policy; Wholesale and Retail Senior Credit Officers; Credit Limits, Reporting & Analytics; Centralized Lending Unit; Allowance & Credit Quality Analytics and Asset Resolution Group.
The Credit Risk Program works with the Business Units providing independent risk challenge and oversight of the First Line of Defense credit risk activities. Key aspects of that include:
- Achieving prudent growth within the Truist Credit Risk Appetite
- Providing independent credit adjudication
- Establishing credit policies, procedures, processes, and standards to guide risk management execution.
- Overseeing the First Line of Defense's identification and assessment of current and emerging risks
- Management of concentration risk and portfolio targets
- Management of problem assets
- Execution of the Allowance for Loan and Lease Losses process

Manage, coordinate, and administer remediation activities of credit related Issues including Regulatory, Audit, Credit Risk Review and other self-identified Issues including the preparation of Issues reporting.
Ensure adherence to governance requirements of the Enterprise Issues Management program including monthly updates to the Archer system of record for Issues and Senior Management and Board level reporting.
Provide credit subject-matter-expertise to Risk Management Organization leadership, Credit Delivery organizations, and Business Unit Chief Risk Officers as needed in the preparation of the credit portion of Regulatory examinations.
Assist the Senior Credit Risk Administration Manager in the preparation of materials for Regulatory interactions.
Manage various projects and initiatives on behalf of the Senior Credit Risk Administration Manager and the Head of Credit Policy & Issues Management.
Provide credit subject-matter-expertise on the review of Credit Policies, Credit Procedures, and related credit processes.
Maintain solid rapport and coordinate Credit Risk Management activities with other areas of Enterprise Risk as required including Enterprise Risk Management, Regulatory Relations, Operational Risk, Compliance Risk, Technology Risk, and the Business Unit Chief Risk Officers.
Liaison on all credit matters with Audit and Credit Risk Review.
Support the Senior Credit Risk Administration Manager and the Head of Credit Policy & Issues Management with the preparation of Executive ad hoc information as needed.
Serve on various task forces or Working Groups representing Enterprise Credit Risk.
Coach, mentor and develop teammates.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent education and related training.
Ten+ years of bank credit risk related experience.
Excellent skills in Issues Management creation, resolution, and oversight.

Strong talent for influencing those with higher levels of authority.
Ability to think strategically, multi-task, and drive change.
