Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Machinists for projects located in the Mars, PA area .This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $24-28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Plan & lay out complex machining operations fabricates and assembles various types and sizes of product parts tooling and assemblies performs jig fixture tool and die work
Duties and responsibilities: utilizes various types of manual numerically controlled and computerized machine shop equipment
Work with ferrous, nonferrous metals, nonmetallic materials their alloys and synthetic materials
Set up & operate a variety of machines including but not limited to lathes mills jig borers & precision grinders to perform multiple machining operations and ensure the proper utilization of equipment and material
Set up punch presses operate various types and sizes of power brakes to form pierce or straighten metal parts as needed
Set up and operate tape controlled punch press automatically or manually to blank and pierce various parts
Read drawings/blueprints
Perform standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work tooling speeds and feeds of machining
Use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments maintains accurate dimensional tolerances based upon drawings
