Brooklyn Bowl, located in the LINQ Promenade in the heart of the fabulous Las Vegas Strip, has redefined the destination entertainment experience. With three levels spanning nearly 80,000 square feet, it's one of the largest music venues in America. Brooklyn Bowl integrates a premier performance venue, food by Blue Ribbon, bars which feature local craft brewed beers, and 32 bowling lanes which give guests a unique place to relax, eat, drink and watch a performance.
Events Service Manager is responsible once Sales/Event bookings are turned over from Sales to Event Services Management for the final planning, management of changes, writing all BEO's, assisting in initial site inspections, tastings, leading Pre-Cons and Client final walkthroughs. Works effectively inter-departmentally to coordinate successful servicing throughout the Venue. They will work directly with the Sales & Events team as well as the Operations Managers to ensure that all aspects of the event are delivered. The execution of events must be representative of the brand, therefore positively impacting the global operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Be able to effectively upsell the venue once the file has been turned over
Attends weekly BEO meetings and posts BEO's in the Operations Office and Kitchen
Attends weekly Sales Meetings
Attends weekly Operations Meetings
Present a professional image to employees, guests, clients/vendors, owners, and investors and lead by example through attitude and tone of voice. Always promoting that you are an extension of the Sales & Events team.
Review staffing levels with the Operations Manager prior to the event
Responsible for knowing and have a complete working knowledge of all areas of catering including menus and bar packages, food, beverage, coffee breaks, event setup
Responsible for coordinating tastings along with the Chef and effectively scheduling all parties involved
Responsible for knowing and have a complete working knowledge of the Production department to include lighting, basic A/V and talent booking
Inspects table place settings, including table linen, dcor, china, glass, silverware and condiments for correct placement by set up crew and to ensure that each element is clean, undamaged and attractive
Attend all pre-shift meetings prior to the event
Responsible for developing floor plans for each event and working with the Kitchen and Operations Team for the most effective set up
Sees that all scheduled functions take place on time and according to plan. All rooms are to be ready 30 minutes before time on BEO's.
Walk floor with the Operations Manager 45 minutes prior to the event with final floor plans approved by the Sales Manager
Serves as the liaison between the venue and the Client during the event
Works with the Operations Manager to close out the check once the event is finished
Signatures on guest checks/final invoice if anything is added during the event
Makes sure all receipts are delivered to the sales and accounting offices for reconciliation
Updates Delphi with final guest count
Maintain event folders to include: Final BEO, Final Invoice, Floor Plans and all invoices from vendors
Establish and maintain vendor relationships and negotiate pricing in order to maximize profit for the venue
Monitor event contracts for sales department through final billing to insure contract's conditions are produced and venue revenue is maximized
Make sure Accounting has all vendor invoices prior to the event
Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Office, POSi, Outlook & Delphi
Is self-motivated and a strong time manager with keen abilities to set and achieve priorities.
Has characteristics to include ability to be a self-starter, a problem-solver, easily manages multiple tasks at the same time, functions well under pressure, delegates effectively, remains positive and constructive under stress, and is an effective verbal and written communicator
Understands how to manage in a culturally diverse work and sales environment
Manages group or inter-personal conflict situations effectively
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to move throughout the venue during the entire shift
Must have the endurance and ability to walk between 3 - 5 miles per shift to ensure adequate observation of assigned area
Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Must be able to verbally communicate
Visual abilities needed for detailed paperwork and observation
Ability to bend, twist, stoop, climb and stand to perform normal job functions
Must be able to work in an environment with loud music and crowds for extended periods of time
Must be able to stand for entire shift
