SAIC is looking for a Business Operations Analyst to join our growing team in the Innovation Factories. This will be a pivotal role that enables you to have significant business impact through your direct involvement in modeling, reporting, forecasting, data quality and operations support.
Only candidates that are local to the National Capital Region (NCR) area will have remote options
Responsibilities:
Establish dashboards, operational metrics, and reports utilizing workflow automation tools to support the rapid growth of the Innovation Factory team.
Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure full compliance of government and SAIC policies, as well as evaluation and recommendation of new ways of conducting business that can help accelerate growth.
Assist in establishing and maintaining organizational project management methodology and procedures.
Ensure the accuracy of all deliverables, including presentations, contracts, and spreadsheets, through collaboration with Finance or Compliance/Legal departments as necessary.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define interface requirements, specifications, and timelines.
Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure the timely completion of interface-related milestones.
Identify, escalate, and mitigate project risks and issues, while effectively communicating project status, and negotiating changes in project scope, resources, or timeline to ensure satisfaction of project completion.
Operations balance short term tactical goals with long term strategies.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be local to the National Capital Region (NCR) area.
Bachelor of Science in business, math, engineering or related field of study.
Nine or more years of relevant experience, which should include working with federally focused businesses in defining their market-specific and industry-wide planning and governance processes; customer-focused consulting experience preferred.
Proven ability to apply organizational design/development experience to support transforming organizational approaches to maximize business performance through aligning goals, objectives, and ROI.
Demonstrated ability to establish and grow corporate relationships among executives.
Proven ability to manage complex analyses spanning quantitative and qualitative data, delivering executive-level insights; experience developing financial models and simulations for if/then analyses.
Proven ability to set guidelines, criteria, and best-in-class competencies for strategy development.
Knowledge of Federal business acquisition process and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
Preferred: Knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Tools (i.e. ADO, Power BI, Power Automate).
