This individual will manage and develop staff responsible for the analysis of the company's operations. They will implement strategic initiatives by creating systems and processes to evaluate strategic programs and initiative. Also lead the forecasting, financial planning, analysis and reporting functions of the organization of assigned business units.
Builds business plans and comprehensive monthly forecasts. Responsible for development and execution of effective ideas and solutions which optimize company resources and improve profitability, while protecting the Brand. Collaborates with all levels of management to help improve business acumen within the organization, while raising awareness levels and probing for greater efficiencies and business opportunities. Provides superior quantitative and qualitative problem solving recommendations, while handling multiple high profile projects concurrently.
Manages and develops staff in in the implements strategic initiatives and financial analysis programs. Crates systems and processes to evaluate the financial success of strategic decisions. Evaluates and advises on the success of strategic initiatives.
Coordinates and presents regular monthly forecasts for Cracker Barrel, including understanding complexities and interdependencies of information, high levels of anticipation, critical events, trends and timely identification of risks & opportunities. Collaborates with various levels of management to acquire and develop reasonable, accurate projections of goals and key success drivers of short and long term sales & profitability. Responsible for the analyses and reporting schedules for the Chief Financial Officer, related to earnings guidance/releases and Board meetings.
Leads the comprehensive Strategic and Annual planning process, including direction, recommendations and presentation of alternatives to achieve critical targets. Develops and refines strategic initiatives, store group sales and expense estimates, G&A, bonus plan design and real estate investment modeling. Coordinates and leads a planning committee consisting of Operations, Marketing, Development, Purchasing, Product Development, and Finance. Coordinates the planning activities of the management committee. Prepares summary plan documents for the Board of Directors, including presentations and extensive reporting.
Responsible for innovative approaches and improvements to methodologies, procedures and systems related to financial planning, forecasting, analysis, investment modeling, reporting of key information for decision making and recommendations for similar improvements throughout the organization.
