Job Description

Our client is seeking a Prodution Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have Machine Operator, Maintenance Technician and Troubleshooting experience which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Prodution Technician

Location: Sumner, WA

Position Summary:

The Production Technician is responsible for monitoring production processes, operating manufacturing equipment, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role involves adhering to safety policies and demonstrating safe behaviors at all times.

What's the Job?

  • Monitor and operate manufacturing equipment.

  • Comply with safety policies and quality systems, including:

  • Quality Data System (QDS)

  • Safe Quality Food (SQF)

  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

  • Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)

  • Actively engage in learning machine operations and apply learnings to perform work to standard.

  • Complete changeovers and cleaning tasks, including line clearance and pre-checks.

  • Perform documentation and verification activities in systems such as COLOS, PeopleSoft, ERP, Manufacturing Execution System, Trackwise, and paper records.

  • Escalate line issues and initiate Root Cause Corrective Action activities.

  • Provide support during maintenance calls and use these opportunities for learning.

What's Needed?

  • Machine Operator experience

  • Attendance: Good attendance is critical.

  • Work Environment: This position involves grinding in coffee processing.
