Job Description:
Come join our family in a fun and creative position that will allow you to develop relationships with residents and their families. Our residents call this facility their home, and you will be able to make a daily impact by helping direct social activities and resident engagement. Assist director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing therapeutic recreation activity programs in accordance with current existing federal, state, and local standards, to assure that the spiritual development, emotional, physical, recreational, and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis. Work Experience: Nursing home experience preferred.
Education Qualifications:
Willing to become AAC (Activity Aide Certified) -OR- current AAC certification preferred.
Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare or long term care preferred.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health's insurer.
Current Basic Cardiac Life support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 3 months of date of hire.
Minnesota Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
AAC certification preferred.
