We are seeking multiple seasoned Certified Expert Developers with proven experience developing on one or more of the following product platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform, Pega or Appian). Candidates must have a robust technical skillset, including expertise in Visualforce, Apex, and integration experience. The successful candidates will have a proven track record of contributing to customer and partner success and will possess both front-end and back-end development skills. This role requires a deep understanding of development and release management strategies, change management, and the ability to design solutions that meet or exceed business requirements. The Platform Developer will be an integral member of our scrum team, effectively managing client expectations and delivering high-quality work.

Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain scalable and efficient Platform applications using Force.com, Apex, and Visualforce etc.
Lead the evaluation of business and technical requirements, ensuring that proposed solutions are optimized using LCNC and they meet client and business goals
Review and guide project direction and approach, ensuring alignment with best practices and quality standards
Evaluate various options and present solutions to clients and partners, educating them on the benefits and implications
Proactively manage risk areas and ensure issues are resolved to the client's satisfaction
Provide LCNC solution governance, intake and release support and additional platform management operations
Actively contribute to the practice's knowledge base, enhancing technical and non-technical resources within the organization
Mentor and educate team members, enriching the technical competency of the team
Foster strong relationships with business partners, clients, and internal teams
Support the growth and development of the organization's Professional Services team
Oversee work of developers.
Conduct quality control of software development. Conduct proactive risk identification and mitigation of software development process

Required Skills/Experience:
Masters Degree or Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
15+ years professional experience
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in software development and implementation
Proficiency (Certified Developer) in one or more popular low-code/no-code platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Power Apps, Pega, or Appian (Required)
Experience of leading a team with a minimum of five members
Experience in developing and implementing algorithms
Must have experience in database design
Must have experience in devising possible solutions to predicted problems, evaluating other options; working as part of a team, which may be established purely for a particular project, to write a specific section of the program; combining all elements of the program design and testing it; testing sample datasets to check that output from the program works as intended
Deep understanding of application design, development, support, and enhancement lifecycle
Strong track record working as a technical lead to perform process analysis, gather business requirements, and develop/configure digital applications
Experience working in software development life cycle (Agile) across all phases including design, development, testing, implementation, deployment, maintenance
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Consultative mindset with the ability to propose solutions and influence decision-making
Experience operating in an Agile/Scrum development environment
Proficiency in object-oriented design and the application of design patterns
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Additional certifications, especially cross product certification are highly desirable
Experience in Healthcare and Government Verticals
Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must be able to obtain and maintain a suitability or determination of eligibility for a Confidential/Secret or Top Security Clearance
All work must be conducted in the United States
Must be able to communicate both verbally and in written form
Must be able to conduct work and be available in VA communication channels during (EST business hours)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
