SAIC is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious team member interested in joining our fast-paced Navy Business Group (NBG) Business Development (BD) Team as the Business Development Operations Analyst, with a desire to positively influence and ultimately impact the success of the Team!
The individual will manage all elements of Business Development Operations for the Navy Business Group including: refining and efficiently managing the communication/reporting/review business rhythm, , tracking all business development metrics and preparing information and analysis briefs to ensure quality control, coordinating and scheduling business operation reviews and training activities, and identifying and recommending efficiencies in the optimization of the business development life cycle, all in direct support of the Navy Business Group's Business Development Senior Vice President, Business Development Leads, Capture Managers and Proposal Managers. This position will also be coordinating with our HR business partners and talent acquisition to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees from Day 1 through the first 30 Days. The position will have access to senior leaders and executives that will provide a great foundation to grow across the company!
Responsibilities of the role will include:
Manage and optimize the communication/reporting/review business rhythm.
Manage, track, and report on key business development metrics.
Manage action item trackers and document lessons learned.
Synthesize data into actionable analysis and risk reduction recommendations.
Support the streamlining and automation of BD processes and procedures.
Support data entry and data quality in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.
Identify and implement standards for development and management of a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Develop and facilitate training of BD operations, BD tools and win initiatives.
Reconcile SVP expense reports
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree and two years' related professional or internship experience; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Strong proficiency in MS office tool suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
Business intelligence/analytics tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
Ability to critically analyze information from multiple sources and provide clear, quality final analysis
Ability to execute critical thinking, problem solving, business acumen, and interpersonal skills to organize and drive teammates to action and standards.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, time sensitive and often multi-tasking environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with peers and senior leaders
