Summary Serves as Chief, Central Distribution Center, with delegated program responsibility for managing the Distribution, Storage and Transportation of perishable and semi-perishable resale products. Manage the overall distribution function through a multinational work force consisting of General Schedule, Federal Wage System and Local National employees. Develops, implements and administers all programs related to receipt storage, and issue of perishable products for distribution to numerous locations. Performs independent analysis resolving difficult problems involving the identification of work flow problems. Uses new distribution and storage program requirements to ensure effective subsistence support. Interprets policy and provides supplementary guidance for implementing and assuring compliance with DeCA policies, customer needs and DoD directives and international laws and regulations.
