Responsible for the effective monitoring of repairs to the mortgaged property due to natural disaster and other negative structural impacts within the servicing portfolio. Work with clients, insurance carriers, and contractors to repair the mortgaged property in an expeditious, compliant and high quality manner. Provide effective and consistent communication with clients regarding insurance coverage, status of repairs and next steps to repair the property back to a suitable condition. Remain compliant with investor guidelines throughout the loss drafts process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Complete data entry and validation at time of notification of impact to the mortgaged property Issue accurate and timely client notifications regarding draw schedule, repair guidelines and next steps Update internal system of record to capture document issuance and retention standards Stay current on investor guidelines as it pertains to the issuance of funds and the repair process Identify and communicate adverse issues, trends or inefficiencies to management and other lines of business along with proposed solutions; contribute to agreed upon resolutions. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners, managing expectations and accountability All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

- College degree or comparable education and experience
- One to two years of mortgage, banking, banking operations, or comparable education
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products to include Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two or more years of retail banking, banking operations, or experience in a law firm or corporate setting
- Strong research and investigation skills
- Proficiency with banking software, deposit account systems, or mortgage servicing systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to prioritize a significant volume of work with simultaneous deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in teams and independently and make effective decisions consistent with role and responsibilities
