The Financial Reporting team is primarily responsible for T-Mobile's quarterly and annual SEC filings, including quarterly earnings release and investor factbook, exhibits and debt offerings, certain single entity financial statements as well as monthly IFRS reporting. Additional responsibilities include supporting the monthly financial review process and the development and implementation of automated reporting processes throughout the accounting and reporting organization.
What you'll do in your role.
Prepare 10-Q/10-K financial statement schedules and footnotes.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings release and investor factbook.
Participate in monthly IFRS close process.
Review and validate the financial and key operating metrics included in certain earnings materials during the quarterly earnings process.
Support Treasury team with debt issuances and related transactions.
Leverage systems (BPC, Workiva, Excel, Alteryx) to automate manual processes.
Communicate and engage across finance teams to improve existing/implement new processes.
Create accurate and timely ad-hoc reports and analysis.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to deliver requested support.
Use accounting concepts, experience, and analytical skills to resolve issues in creative and effective ways.
The experience you'll bring.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
2-5 years of relevant accounting experience - Big-4 public accounting experience preferred.
SEC reporting experience strongly preferred.
CPA preferred.
Experience using ERP systems, business intelligence and reporting tools; Workiva, SAP ECC and BPC preferred.
XBRL experience preferred.
Advanced problem solving and analytical skills, including ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams as well as demonstrated ability to understand broad business and financial issues.
Competency and comfort working with and analyzing large sets of data.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Be flexible and able to handle ambiguity.
Multi-task and prioritize workload and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
Work independently and as part of team.
