As part of our Silicon Technologies group, you'll help design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC). You'll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and expertly handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. Joining this group means you'll be responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Apple's devices. Together, we will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices! In this position you will help us ensure the successful integration of DRAM memories with Apple's SoC devices.
Description
Minimum Qualifications
Hands-on experience in DRAM development.
Knowledge of DRAM cell architectures
Exposure in DRAM memory organization and periphery design for low DRAM power
Expertise in DRAM reliability.
Knowledge of innovative packaging technology (POP, TSV, etc.) and their relationship to DRAM signal/power integrity
Previous experience in Failure Analysis of DRAM devices
Experience working with the major DRAM vendors. Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with memory interface verification with understanding DDR-PHY and Memory Controller
Experience in LPDDR IO (DDR/DDR2/DDR3/DDR4/DDR5) characterization and qualification
Knowledge of memory test patterns
Excellent hardware and software debug skills
Strong background in computer architecture
Programming experience in C/C++/Python/Perl
Bachelors or related degree program with 10 years of proven experience.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
