Description: Input customer orders, quotations, requisitions, receipts, and shipping documents into Product Support mechanized and manual control systems. Maintain history files for procurement, control and shipment of customer requirements. Compile and maintain part number masters by posting information from authorized documents. Operate a remote computer terminal to make inquiries, changes and updates into a central information storage system.
WORK PERFORMED
Maintain files for procurement and shipping documents, as required.
Update system records, as required.
Operate computer terminal to enter information into the Contractor Communication Network system or to transmit MILSTRIP's, cancellations, follow-ups and Government Furnished Material Transaction Reporting System activity corrections. Locate national stock numbers and management data by operating computer terminal utilizing the HAYSTACK system.
Operate a terminal with keyboard, CRT display, and printout capacity to enter data from specific documents into a central storage control unit, to update existing part number masters and to compile new part number masters. Input all required data on to terminal display screen to update or compile part number masters as necessary.
Check own work to verify correct entries were made. Explain problems related to work assignments to supervision when their assistance is needed. Input furnished information into terminals to cause Request for Spares Quotations to be prepared when deemed necessary by supervision. Maintain a log book on spares quotations and parts orders as they move in and out of the department. Perform other related clerical functions as required.
Maintain Customer Property inventory records (including records of items purchased for the customer). Input material transactions and inventory adjustments to reflect activity on applicable contract. Receive and verify requirements and input receipt. Prepare rework purchase orders as required. Prepare procurement requisitions for Customer Property when established stock level requires procurement action. Make price corrections based on stock change notices or authorized documents.
Process inventory cycle count sheets against Customer Property inventory records.
Input part numbers to national stock numbers with price, expendability, source, unit of issue, cure date and any other information pertinent to inventory records by utilizing terminals. Maintain accountable document files.
Perform related activities as instructed by assigned supervision.
Post corrected figures to the system and ascertain that paperwork reflects the correction.
Post Purchase Order Numbers, due date, and quantities.
Utilizes a computer for input/retrieval of information related to investigation and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
Basic Qualifications:
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Required to take and satisfactorily complete an entrance Proficiency Demonstration (PD).
One year experience using a computerized parts inventory control system or equivalent within previous five (5) year period.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
