We are looking for a Software Developer with experience using and/or developing Siemens Spectrum Power TM 7 Energy Management System (EMS). Your responsibility will be the successful software development, delivery, and support of our Operator Training Simulator application to customers in the Energy Industry. The position requires effective development, delivery, and support for the Operator Training Simulator application. You will use applicable theory, algorithms, and solution techniques to develop functional requirements, design specifications, to document, and to test the Operator Training Simulator application.

This is a hybrid position that requires work on-site at our Minnetonka MN office.

You'll make an impact as you:

  • Support customers with the use of Operator Training Simulator.

  • Review and respond to customer technical requirements.

  • Provide estimates for delivering and enhancing the application.

  • Deliver software development enhancements to customer requirements.

  • Test the application in factory and site environments.

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

  • Experience with Siemens Spectrum Power TM 7 EMS required.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science completed by end of June 2024.

  • Work experience in Software Engineering, Project Delivery, Product Development, and Customer Support.

  • Software development experience: C/C++, Fortran, Perl, and/or Python.

  • Experience with Oracle PL/SQL.

  • Experience with Linux, Windows, and AIX Platforms.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with SCADA systems, mission critical systems, or Network Grid Control Center software.

  • Experience with source code control using Git and ClearCase.

  • Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum.

  • Experience with testing and test automation.

  • The salary range for this position is $73,080 - $125,280.. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
