The Opportunity:
The United States Attorney's Office, Southern District of New York (-SDNY-USAO-) has an immediate opening for a Project Manager. This position plays a crucial role in managing and securing the growing volume of electronically stored evidence (-ESI-) coming into SDNY-USAO. The individual selected for this assignment will serve as the primary point of contact managing multiple litigation projects simultaneously. They will assist with Discovery processing, case review platform set-up and administration. This individual will work closely with the district's external vendor and utilize the district's internal eDiscovery platforms and software.
The person selected for this position will be tasked with coordinating with SDNY AUSAs to get data into web-based document review platforms, supporting attorneys and paralegals in the effective use of these platforms. They will also consult with SDNY AUSAs on technical issues and provide resolutions.
The Project Manager will also perform document review and analysis as well as database coordination and access. They will create reports for analysis by the case teams and assist with handling the increasingly heavy load of litigation support tasks required to support large cases.
Responsibilities:
Provide support for multiple active cases at once.
Act as the primary point of contact for the government in all matters of case support.

Qualifications:
Required:
At least four years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience on major litigation support projects, including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
Demonstrates the ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing and eDiscovery support activities.
Requires knowledge of the Government's data processing environment in which the work is to be performed, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, and internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as but not limited to Oracle, Relativity or other document review platform, and Trial Director
Must be able to anticipate litigation support needs and develop and execute detailed plans for addressing those needs.
Strong written/oral communication and excellent management skills.
United States Citizenship and a passage of a federal background investigation.
Desired:
Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms such as Reveal, Eclipse, and Everlaw.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
