As anOutsideCommercial Sales Representativefor Batteries Plus you will have an assigned field territory in the Columbia, SC region. You will be marketing battery and lighting solutions to small, medium, and large businesses within all industries because all industries need batteries and lighting. Can you think of any business that does not use power or lighting products?
This is a consultative solutions based sales position. OurOutside Commercial Sales Representativessucceed by mining existing customers for new business, qualifying leads, creating sales proposals, conducting sales presentations, and ultimately closing the sale while building and managing long-term business relationships.
Lighting and battery experience is not required. Our training program along with our in house product support teams will give you the confidence you need to be knowledgeable in front of the customer.
We are looking for hungry, hard working, professional sales representatives with experience in selling at the Director level up to C level executives. This position will have the ability to work remotely with the need for in person customer meetings. If that describes you, please apply.

Responsibilities:
Drive new commercial sales in a designated field territory with existing customers
Follow up on warm leads from our stores, website and customer referrals
Create and present proposals
Utilize CRM system, Salesforce, to build a sales pipeline, manage prospects, run sales reports and manage commercial customer accounts
Maintain and grow a $2M customer portfolio
Take a consultative sales approach to match the right products and services to meet the customer needs
Conduct virtual and face to face needs analysis meetings with customers
Qualifications:
2+ years of outside B2B commercial sales experience
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
The ability for limited overnight travel
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for business-to-business sales
Demonstrated success in prospecting, negotiating, follow up and closing the sale
Self-motivated to resourcefully generate new leads, maintaining a sales pipeline
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field
