We provide the data insights that help manage our fleet of tens of thousands of delivery vans and trucks - one of the largest and most admired parcel carriers in the world. We're seeking a Senior Product Manager - Technical to work with our Data / BI teams and our business customers to drive the technology roadmap of our Generational AI product set. We are planning to offer a set of GenAI experiences to our internal customers allowing instant answers to common policy questions and connecting them to resources, helping optimize operations, enhance program performance, and improve vehicle uptime and utilization.
You will serve as a critical leader in identifying and defining new and innovative solutions for delivering high relevance, high quality GenAI experiences that help leaders drive business-critical decisions, and enable continued scaling of our fast-growing logistics operations. This is a high visibility role with lots of room for growth across the Global Fleet & Products organization (GFP).
Our team is spread across Austin, Bellevue, and Nashville, and this role may be based in any of those locations.
Key job responsibilities
Work cross-functionally with customers, data providers, technical teams, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities
Design, influence, and drive development of novel GenAI experiences leveraging Amazon Q
Maintain awareness and drive state-of-the-art best practices and operational excellence for delivery of safe and secure GenAI experiences
Define creative, high quality, and clear product roadmaps based on data, customer needs, team strategy, and vision
Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application
Create buy-in for your product vision both internally and across key partners
Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
Develop business requirements, review tech designs, and participate in the day-to-day decision-making activities of your product team
A day in the life
Our team's customers are internal Amazon teams responsible for managing Amazon's Last Mile global fleet, starting from procurement of assets, managing their ongoing safe and efficient operation, and through the asset's end of life. The Senior Product Manager works to understand customer needs across the countries in which we operate to drive project schedules from design to release, and influences multiple large, high visibility programs to deliver the products our customers need to get their jobs done.
About the team
Here at Global Fleet and Products (GFP), we are building the safest, most efficient, and most sustainable fleet in the world. GFP Analytics is a growing and dynamic team dedicated to the curation, governance, and analytics/reporting of data about our worldwide fleet of delivery vehicles, especially data related to managing the supply chain and ongoing operation of the fleet. We have two sub-teams, Data/Infra and BI/Analytics, comprised of a diverse set of product/program managers, data engineers, business analysts, and business intelligence engineers. We love data and helping our customers drive the GFP mission!

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical engineering
MBA
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products
Experience with end to end product delivery

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
