The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Production Technician (lead) to support our government customer. As a member of the CACI Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation's safety, security, and prosperity. Responsibilities:

  • Experience as a production lead overseeing and delegating day to day activities of production team to achieve project objectives.

  • Coach and mentor junior technicians in acquiring skills, techniques and learning proper procedures proven effective in completing daily activities.

  • Coordinate with management, engineering, supply, and other functional areas to alleviate impediments to project's forward progress.

  • Work with stakeholders to research causes to problems and exert expert judgement for solutions to issues that arise during project lifecycle.

  • Assist in creating labor estimates for upcoming work.

  • Assist in assessment of drawing packages to develop bills of materials (BOM) for handover to procurement.

  • Track and pull project material and efficiently assign team resources to align completion of project work with scheduled delivery.

  • Ability to interpret information from drawings and wire diagrams into actionable activities applying proper production and quality control procedures.

  • Perform quality assessment of system components to ensure proper functionality.

  • Support integration of components in to higher level assemblies to support cutting edge technology development.

  • Responsible for developing technical solutions that may require collaboration with CACI expertise and deep analysis of the technical system.

  • Communicates and coordinates with stakeholders within and outside of own job function and engage with parties external to CACI.

  • Provide influence and input to policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Applies standards and technical expertise to support end item development and delivery.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 or more years' experience with systems integration and cable fabrication.

  • Knowledge of DoD programs

  • Strong customer relations and support skills

  • Written communication skills

Desired:

  • Experience with cable fabrication and wiring, soldering, and cable routing

  • Experience working with DoD customers

  • Specific knowledge of NAWCAD customer processes and procedures

  • Ability and passion to bring vision and innovation

  • Effective collaboration skills

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with customers

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400 - 143,700 USD
