Summary
MOD Pizza is looking for someone with a deep passion for content and community to lead our social media strategy and implementation. This person will champion and grow the MOD brand by engaging daily with our audience and creating innovative social content and campaigns. The ideal candidate has experience managing social media for a brand or agency and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This person is a digital native, exhibiting superb creative judgement and a strong POV on social media marketing. They know the ins and outs of all of the major social platforms and have an overflowing notebook of ideas for ways MOD can punch through the noise. This person knows the latest trends, memes, pop culture milestones and, most importantly, exhibits the judgement to know how or even if MOD should leverage these moments. Above all, this person is energized about the opportunity to spread MOD's unique people-first mission to a rapidly expanding audience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and own the Social Media Content Calendar, balancing multiple content priorities across channels for both high-priority marketing campaigns and unplanned (reactive) social content.
Create timely organic social content to engage the MOD social media audience for platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
Develop strategy and provide direction/feedback on social content to Creative team for marketing campaigns.
Manage social agency relationships, assuring timely development and deployment of on-brand social video content across TikTok, Reels, and other emerging video-first social platforms.
Oversee daily community management of social media channels, including responding to questions or comments, engaging with our audiences, and passing along issues to the Customer Care team as needed.
Own social-only campaigns, such as contests, sweepstakes, stunts, influencer/talent engagement, etc.
Stay up to date on social platform changes, new features, industry trends, competitors, and other opportunities for the MOD brand to stay relevant in the social space.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
3-5 years of experience in a social media, creative, or marketing role
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Experience with social media management tools, such as Sprout Social
Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications and intermediate skills with Adobe products to create visual social content
Time management, organizational, and prioritizations skills
A strong understanding of cultural awareness
Experience in a customer or consumer-facing role is a plus
Physical Requirements
Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
