Please review the following job description:

EOS Idea/Project Intake Management (routine prep/facilitation, SaaS workflow kickoff, partner routine participation)

Change Governance SME/Support (e.g., support/consult on ECRE set up; build and maintain centralized site/resources to clearly communicate change processes, resources, and trainings; attend Technology, ECRM, CEG, etc. governance reviews or other trainings to stay apprised on change governance developments)

Execution Effectiveness: Generate/distribute reporting on projects after close out, including realized vs. initially projected benefits/costs; Collaborate with CEG and SMEs as needed to support improvements in change intake processes

Manage MBR routine preparation and other collaboration/strategic planning needs (e.g., dev. quarterly review routines/material prep, etc.)

Prepare and maintain and internal (EOS-Sponsored) and exhaustive (EOS-sponsored + external demand from EOS) project roadmap and PM list; communicate in periodic relevant forums. May include proposed changes, costs/benefits, and EOS capacity allocation details.

Generate/distribute bi-weekly reporting on ECRE, PMLC, etc. EOS adherence and provide applicable follow up and support to ensure adherence

Track EOS change management metrics in comparison to other BCLs to validate team effectiveness, sizing, opportunities, etc. (e.g., out of compliance EOS vs CSBB projects over time)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Leads or coordinates project planning activities for medium to large initiatives including gathering, analyzing, and presenting data needed for project decision makers.

  2. Defines project scope and obstacles that would impact the success of the initiative. Identifies and supports required changes to scope or timeline throughout the project lifecycle.

  3. Leads execution activities including defining and organizing milestones, teams and schedules to reach project objectives.

  4. Prepares and maintains necessary project materials and artifacts, including business cases, prioritization, project plans/task lists, business readiness materials, and post-project follow up.

  5. Gathers and analyzes data to draw thoughtful conclusions and recommendations to leadership

  6. Provides tracking and reporting of project status to leadership and enterprise teams.

  7. Creates process mapping for changes resulting from strategic projects including risks and controls and may recommend changes to existing processes to improve efficiencies.

  8. Owns the intake of new project requests and coordination of projects within workstreams.

  9. Establishes and maintains relationships with all stakeholders ensuring coordination across cross-functional teams.

  10. Serves as an individual contributor with ownership of a project portfolio. May serve as a resource for junior level resources promoting a cohesive, inclusive, team-oriented culture aligned with the Truist purpose, mission, and values

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, or equivalent education and related training

  2. 3-5 years of experience in consulting, project management or process improvement related role.

  3. Advanced understanding of project management framework and demonstrated ability to implement medium scale initiatives.

  4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to influence others and facilitate difficult conversations with leadership

  6. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, devise solutions and make decisions under pressure.

  7. Ability and willingness to learn and adapt as the needs of the job change

  8. Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

  9. Ability to travel as needed, occasionally overnight

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Five years of experience in the financial services industry or consulting

  2. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  3. Advanced understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma)

  4. Experience with Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies

  5. Sound working knowledge of holistic banking/investment platforms, products, services, operations, finance and systems
