The Intel and Cyber Division is assembling a team of network engineers, systems engineers, Unified Communications Engineers, and Integration Engineers, change management specialists, information assurance professionals, and procurement personnel knowledgeable in SCRM processes to support a program that provides critical network capabilities. Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Integrated Unified Communications Consulting Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for providing technical expertise in Unified Communications (UC) and collaboration technologies.
Work closely with other team members to design, implement, and optimize UC solutions.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, security specialists, and system architects.
Assessing client needs, recommending architecture improvements, and ensuring seamless communication across domains.
Specialize in UC technologies such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection, and Cisco Webex.
Supervises the UC Engineers in O&M, Innovation, and special projects across the program and provides guidance on uniquely challenging issues in UC .
Assists in the day-to-day operations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain UC systems.
Work together to deliver reliable and efficient communication services.
Assists and advises the UCEs, network engineers, and cyber security experts on voice and video communications solutions.
Advises on projects related to UC, video conferencing, instant messaging, and presence.
Ensures that communication tools are integrated seamlessly and meet security requirements.
Expert in Unified communications, Collaboration design, Edge services, Endpoints and user management, Configuration, Troubleshooting, and Integration
Focus on designing and optimizing network infrastructure across different security domains.
Address challenges related to data flow, security policies, and interoperability.
Cross-domain network architects work closely with UCEs to align UC solutions with overall network architecture.

Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.

Deep understanding of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
Proficiency in Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) or Enterprise (UCCE)
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including LAN/WAN, QoS, and MPLS
Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls, particularly in relation to voice and video integration
Experience with voice gateways, SIP trunks, and ISDN circuits
Expertise in call control protocols (SIP, SCCP, H.323)
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
