NIGHT SHIFT: 6pm to 6am
PAY: $15.74 per hour + $0.50 night shift differential
Works 36 hours 1 week and 48 hours the other week (must be able to work every other FRI, SAT, & SUN)
Operates glaze line and inspects tile.
Monitors glaze line equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
Inspects tile for quality defects in the manufacturing process.
Performs hourly quality control checks to ensure tile is within specifications.
Operates powered industrial trucks to transport glaze to and from the glaze lines.
Lifts 50lbs min
Load lift and removal of tile thru wheelbarrows 100yrds
Frequent use of Water hoses
Stand/walk for long periods o time
Operation of tools, manual and limited power.
Follows operating procedures.
Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
Performs other related duties as required.
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
1-5 years previous manufacturing/production experience.
Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak basic English. Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance. The associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures. The noise level is usually loud.
