RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

We are seeking a Desktop Support Team Lead, providing support for multiple team members and projects. Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to product owners. Will be involved in customer installation and training activities. May provide support to users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature. Generally interacts directly with the customer/user and internal team members. Must have great communication and prior Desktop experience supporting Corp environment. Ability to lift 50 lbs if needed. Troubleshoots and repairs computer software, hardware, and network configurations. Provides technical and user support for PC components, mainframe networking, and LAN-based systems. May be internal or external client-focused.

  • PROBLEM COMPLEXITY : Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.

  • IMPACT: Decisions or failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules.

  • LIAISON : Interacts daily with supervisors and/or functional peer groups. Interaction may involve exchange or presentation of information.

  • FREEDOM TO ACT : Normally receives general instructions on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

  • AA Degree in related discipline and six (6) years or more of related experience; Or, High School and eight (8) years of related experience.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY:

  • Extensive knowledge in specialized functions. A wide and comprehensive acquaintance with, and understanding of, both general and specific aspects of the job and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered.

  • College degree and 4+ years of related experience along with prior leadership experience

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
