Facilities Assistance Support for the J4
The Contractor shall assist the Government with submitting service orders for all HT-JCOE facilities on Fort Huachuca and other satellite training locations when required.
Maintain Facilities Service Order Tracking Log, and confirm work performed was completed. Support also includes monitoring and updating facilities related requests via HT-JCOE's Share Point Portal.
Conduct at a minimum, two facility readiness visits per month to Davis Monthan AFB and convey requirements/concerns to Government Facility Manager or designated representative. Inspect facilities to ensure all fixtures are functioning properly; document and report results to the Facility Manager.
Assist Facility Manager with coordinating security access clearance and escort duties for facilities' projects.
Assist Facility Manager with tracking Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) issued to facilities' repair workers.
Assist with the completion of facilities' custodial cleaning team checks and escort custodial team for each service day. Obtain latrine custodial supplies and ensure select facilities are stocked at all times.
Assist the Facility Manager with satellite training locations/facilities setup, tear down, and readiness. Support includes transporting furnishings/fixtures to and from training locations via GSA vehicles.
Upload all inspection results, checklists, and forms to HT-JCOE automated document repository.
Conduct monthly fire marshal inspections for all HT-JCOE as required, and report findings/concerns to the HT-JCOE Facility Manager or designated representative.
The Contractor shall be able to lift equipment up to 50 pounds unassisted or 60 pounds assisted (e.g., using team lifts, belts, and hand trucks).
Be able to stand/walk for an extended period of time (up to 1 hours).
k) Be able to travel to customer satellite locations.
4.15.4 Qualifications for Logistics Support Specialist - J4 (Direct Support to Training)
SECRET security clearance.
Minimum two years' experience or related undergraduate degree from an accredited institution in supply chain or logistics management (experience in lieu of education may be considered).
Three years' experience with Supply Warehousing.
Completed the Army Fundamentals of Supply web-based training course (completed course within first 60 days of hiring.
Knowledge of property accountability database systems.
Demonstrated an understanding of AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-1, and AR 735-5 (within 180 days of hiring).
Able to complete DA Forms 3161, 2062, 2765, and 1687 and DD Forms 1348-A, 200, and 362 (within 180 days of hiring).
Able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Valid civilian driver's license and obtain a military vehicle operator's permit; may be required to maneuver light truck and trailer combinations (No CDL Required).
Able to work a modified work schedule to include evenings and weekends.
Able to travel up to 20% of the time.
Completed the local Air Force or Army Facility Manager Training Course (or complete course within the first 90 days of hiring).
