Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional SR FP&A Finance Manager to join our TEAM! As the Finance Manager Senior, we need someone who develops and implements annual operating plan, conducts period close of financial records and responsible for SBU's balance sheet accuracy and completeness.

Major Function and Scope

  • Plans and manages finance/accounting activities in support of assigned business unit.

  • Develops and implements annual operating plan and tracks results to plan- including sales, operating profit, and capital.

  • Prepares annual audit reports as needed.

  • Manages or conducts period close of financial records. Prepares and disseminates financial reports.

  • Responsible for SBU's balance sheet accuracy and completeness. Liaison to external auditors.

  • Identifies opportunities for reducing cost or improving efficiencies in coordination with operations management.

  • Analyzes performance of key business segments to ensure optimal performance throughout the SBU.

  • Prepares various ad hoc reports and provides detailed analysis of data as requested by operations management.

  • Ensures financial integrity that includes compliance with SOX, FASB, and GAAP. Consults with legal counsel and the Corporate Financial Accounting Department to determine correct reporting processes as related to the Joint Venture: including customs compliance and GAAP financial reporting.

  • Business partnering with sales and operations

  • Creates and analyses metrics

  • Performs month end close

  • Prepares the annual operating budget as well as related analysis to support

  • Prepares monthly forecasts.

  • Prepares weekly and monthly reporting to support sales/operations

  • Provides various other ad hoc reports as needed.

  • Performs special projects and analysis

  • Supports and supervises team.

  • Performs other related analytical duties as required.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and Knowledge Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.

  • 10+ years of experience in FP&A Management

  • SAP and Hyperion experience required.

  • Previous supervisory experience required.

Competencies

Strong strategic planning and analytical skills. Advanced computer skills in Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint. Experience with financial reporting packages. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills, with the ability to influence top management. Must be able to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate solid time management and organizational skills.
