At Lockheed Martin, we lead in classified cyber security operations across our enterprise. We manage a team of approximately 300 security professionals dedicated to developing, implementing, and maintaining cyber security measures across all classified technology platforms and business environments for the RMS (Rotary and Mission Systems) Business Area.
THE WORK
As the Director of Classified Cyber Security, you will:
- Lead an enterprise-wide classified cyber security team to ensure compliance with government and company security requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain cyber security operations across classified technology platforms.
- Recruit, develop, and retain classified cyber security talent essential for maintaining secure operations.
- Interface with multiple government and customer security agencies to ensure compliance with Department of Defense collateral, Special Access, and Sensitive Compartmented Information operating environments (e.g., NISPOM, DODM 5205.07, Risk Management Framework, CORAs).
- Manage a senior team responsible for establishing and implementing security processes across diverse operating systems and environments.
- Develop strategic relationships with customer security agency representatives and enterprise IT senior management.

Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years related experience in the classified cyber field with 5 years leadership experience.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Demonstrated executive leadership skills.
- Demonstrated experience with talent recruitment, development, and management for a large team across multiple locations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interface with numerous cognizant security agencies, customers, and senior executive management.
- Prior experience authoring and oversight of security plans and processes and maintaining accreditations with the Department of Defense, Special Access Programs, and Intelligence Community customers.
- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
- Knowledge of other security and information assurance disciplines and how they impact and interact with information systems security.
- Experience performing IT risk analysis and mitigation implementation strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and demanding environment.
This position also requires an enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin to meet its business needs. Top Secret Clearance with an investigation within the past five years.
Desired Skills:
- Current CISSP, CISM, Security +, or other DoD 8570/8140 certifications.
- Specific working knowledge of current government compliance documents across the DoD. and Special Access Programs customer base.
- Strategic Planner.
- Familiarity with CCRI/CORA methodology.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Understanding of classified cloud computing principles.
- Ability to incorporate enterprise-wide standards into the organizational business rhythm.
- Previous LM experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $195,000 - $325,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
