Job Description:
This position provides a variety of unit support functions which contribute to the overall efficient operation of the nursing department. Responsible for serving the needs of patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, Assistant Head Nurse, and/or Department Director (possibly with guidance from an LPN) to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Works within job scope to meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory and accrediting agencies. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: obtaining vital signs, appropriately and safely transferring patients, gathering and providing data to licensed health care professionals and assisting with ambulatory procedures. May preform clerical tasks, light housekeeping duties, supplies, linen and inventory management. Will assist in upholding infection prevention principles throughout the ambulatory setting

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
