Serves as a technical and industry resource to management, business, and development staff in new uses of information technology and in all phases of system and subsystem development. Participates in the solution efforts across single or multiple IT systems, which includes assisting leaders to respond to RFP's. Assists with the identification, evaluation and recommendation of new IT solutions. Contributes and participates in task identification, work effort estimates and work schedule for research, prototype and 'proof of concept' IT activities. Uses business knowledge and researches as needed to recommend appropriate cost effective IT solutions.
Contributes to and/or assists in building and testing user friendly, secure and high-quality custom applications and/or SaaS solutions (Box, ServiceNow etc.) using Java, JavaScript, RPG and other languages.
Supports the integration of systems to data bases and consumes or produces REST based services.
Participates in the analysis, definition and cost effective solutions that meet the known or evolving business requirements within a single business line(s).
Will be given opportunities to utilize technical capabilities and avoid duplicate development efforts.
